If you would like to document a student's absent hours, when you
are on the screen to add hours, if you remove the check from the box for
"Attend," the default hours you indicated on the first screen will be
removed from the "Hours" field and will instead appear in the "Absent"
field. You can then change the number of hours absent if you need to.
Then, from your Student tab, you can go to Find > Hours
Search > Class Hours Absent Search to search for students who had a
designated number of hours absent within a date range.
